This is a renovation project for condominium residence in an upscale neighborhood of Tokyo. The design theme was to create harmony between wooden Japanese “koshi” screen pattern details with the various materials of soft texture. Paper, wood, and soft materials such as beige carpet are arranged rhythmically to complement the graceful patterns of the “koshi” screens, creating a space that can express the passing of hours of the day with changing light, connecting the home to everyday life.

都内の高級住宅地にあるマンション住戸のリノベーションです。

木の格子パターンのディテールと柔らかな質感のある素材の調和をテーマとして設計しています。

木や和紙、ベージュのカーペット等の素材の中に木格子の端整なパターンが室内にリズミカルに配置されることで、一日の光の変化の中で様々に異なる表情を見せる空間をつくり、時間によって異なる味わいのある住宅としました。
